Bumrah completed his half-century of wickets in just 41 matches and is the third fastest Indian to achieve the landmark.

2. Yuzvendra Chahal (34 matches)

The wrist spinner is one of the most lethal ones in T20Is all across the globe. Chahal is India’s leading wicket-taker in T20Is with 96 wickets to his name from 80 matches at an average of 25.09 and an economy of 8.19. The 33-year-old took just 34 matches to complete 50 wickets in the format making him the second-fastest bowler to do so.

1. Kuldeep Yadav (30 matches)

Kuldeep Yadav burst onto the scene as a mystery spinner whose variations left many top batters in the world dumbfounded. Possessing a rare skill of left-arm wrist spin, Kuldeep found early success in the format and raced to 50 wickets in just 30 matches. The 28-year-old is India’s sixth-highest wicket-taker in the format, having scalped 52 wickets from 32 matches.
