2.Aaron Finch (440)

Fresh from ODI retirement, T20 skipper Aaron Finch is the second name on this chart. The right-handed batter has amassed 440 runs in 15 matches at an average of 29.33 and a strike rate of 136.22. The 35-year-old has slammed two half-centuries with the highest score of 89. In terms of boundaries, Finch has managed to hit 54 fours and nine maximums in this fixture. Notably, his innings of 89 came in a losing cause in Rajkot in 2013 when India won a high-scoring match chasing 202.

1.Virat Kohli (718)

The star India batter, Virat Kohli finds himself in the first position for scoring the most runs in India-Australia T20 international matches. The 33-yeard old right-handed batter has slammed 718 runs in 19 matches at a staggering average of 59.83 and a strike rate of 146.23. In 18 innings, Kohli has smashed seven half-centuries, which is the most by any batter against the Aussies. His highest score is 90* with the top three best individual knocks by an Indian against the Kangaroos all coming from Kohli’s bat. He has also hit 55 fours and 22 maximums.
