IPL 2020: Jofra Archer’s old tweet goes viral after his sensational catch

The cricketing fraternity seems to have developed a habit of digging Jofra Archer’s old tweets whenever something notable happens on the cricket field and it is rarely disappointed. England all-rounder has a tweet for almost every incident that takes place on the field. And on Sunday, another old tweet from his huge collection went viral thanks to his breathtaking catch during the match between Rajasthan Royals and Mumbai Indians.

Archer took a stunner to send back Ishan Kishan. The Barbados-born allrounder pulled off a one-handed catch to leave everyone present on the field stunned. With the Mumbai Indians 90 for 1 in the 11th over, Kishan slashed a shot straight towards Archer at third man. The England star had initially misjudged the catch as he had come forward but made a timely jump and caught the ball with one hand to complete an unbelievable grab.

Soon after the catch, the social media was abuzz praising the Royals star before one of his own tweets became viral. Archer had tweeted about ‘catch of the IPL’ in 2014 and the fans were quick to make it viral, saying that the all-rounder already knew about his latest catch.

Here is the tweet:
