IPL 2020: Sachin Tendulkar’s game-changers from RR vs MI

Rajasthan Royals surged to a smashing win over Mumbai Indians at Abu Dhabi on 26th October as they claimed an eight-wicket victory. Batting first, Mumbai managed to post a strong total on the board with Hardik Pandya blasting the bowlers all around the park. Rajasthan rode on an incredible partnership by Ben Stokes and Sanju Samson to complete the target of 196 runs. Sachin Tendulkar picked his game-changers from this match in his latest episode in the IPL series.

Hardik Pandya’s blistering knock

Mumbai opener Quinton de Kock did manage a six off Jofra Archer but the bowler was clever to alter his line and length as he dismissed de Kock. This was a smart move by Archer according to the Indian legend. Tendulkar praised the way Mumbai’s top and middle-order batted through the overs.

According to Tendulkar, Hardik Pandya paced his innings incredibly well. At one stage, he was batting on 8 (9) and in the next 12 balls, he managed to add 52 runs. The Master Blaster was happy to see Pandya bat the way he did, this will augur well for MI in the tournament. Pandya’s knock of 60 not out from 21 balls was the game-changer.

Stokes and Samson thwart Mumbai

Mumbai took two wickets early and another wicket would have derailed Rajasthan according to Tendulkar. Opener Ben Stokes and Sanju Samson controlled the innings remarkably well. Tendulkar felt that Rahul Chahar bowled a key over but MI failed to take a wicket. The partnership between Stokes and Samson of 152 runs of 82 balls was full of aggression but there was no wild slogging. Ben Stokes’ knock of 107 not out from 60 balls was the game-changer for Tendulkar.
