Team News:

Mumbai Indians:

Captain Rohit Sharma was not named in any of the squads of the Australian tour, and the BCCI stated that his fitness shall be monitored continuously along with pacer Ishant Sharma. However, he was seen practising in the nets as per Mumbai Indians’ social media handles. It remains to be seen whether Rohit has officially pulled out of this edition of the league or not. Their batting seemed unfazed even in his absence and they should go unchanged for this match.

Royal Challengers Bangalore:

Bangalore have had a good run this season, with consistent performances from most players. Their major concern has been the poor form of Australian captain and opener Aaron Finch, who has just one 50+ score this season in 11 innings. They have also been among the least attacking teams in the middle overs (7-15), with a strike-rate of less than 115. Navdeep Saini’s fitness for the next game remains a concern, as he injured his bowling hand in the CSK match.
