IPL 2020: RR vs KKR Preview – Can Royals replicate their Sharjah form in Dubai?

Steve Smith’s Rajasthan Royals and Dinesh Karthik’s Kolkata Knight Riders will take on each other at the Dubai International Stadium in Match 12 of IPL 2020. Both teams are coming on the back of a victory. Rajasthan have won both their games, while Kolkata have won and lost a game each. The Royals pulled off the highest chase in IPL history against KXIP chasing a target of 224 with 4 wickets to spare while KKR defeated SRH by 7 wickets after losing to Mumbai in their season opener.

Rajasthan are on a roll after consecutive wins. Tewatia played one of the most mind-blowing knocks ever to pull off a heist. However, they put up a dismal performance with the ball in both their matches. They would be hoping for their star-batsman Jos Buttler to come back to form. KKR improved their top-order batting from the previous game, with Gill playing a sensible knock. Their bowling also did well, with star-bowler Pat Cummins putting up a good show. They looked particularly good in the death overs and the powerplay.
