The India tour of Ireland concluded with the Men in Blue winning the two-match T20I series by a margin of 2-0. The second match of the series was more competitive as Ireland almost shocked the Indian team. The Men in Green lost the second T20I by a bare margin of four as skipper Andrew Balbirnie and senior batter Paul Stirling were excellent with the bat. 5. Andrew Balbirnie

Ireland skipper Andrew Balbirnie might have failed in the first T20I but the senior batter was at his supreme best during the second T20I. Chasing a 200+ run total, the right-handed batter took the charge of Indian bowlers and played a vital role in providing a swift start to his team. Balbirnie scored 60 runs in two matches.

4. Harry Tector

Promising young batter Harry Tector showed his capabilities with the bat after stroking 103 runs in just two matches against mighty India. The 22-year-old has played 34 T20I matches and has amassed 643 runs at a decent average of 26.79. Looking at his batting, Tector becomes one of the most prominent batters that Ireland has ever produced.

3. Bhuvneshwar Kumar

Veteran pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar showed was excellent during India’s tour of Ireland. Taking the new ball, Kumar showed his swing bowling abilities and kept Ireland batters quiet. He scalped two wickets in the series after bowling a total of seven overs in two matches.

Ireland pacer Craig Young was the best bowler of the series in terms of wickets. No surprises here, Indian batter Deepak Hooda holds the first position in this list after bagging the player of the series award. The right-handed batter stroked an excellent century in the second T20I and helped his side to cross the 200-run mark easily. He also played a handful of innings in the first T20I match as well.
