Pakistan duo of Mohammad Yousuf and Younis Khan smashed a mountain of runs together against arch-rivals India in a three-match series in the year 2006 at home. The pair added a massive 861 runs in four innings at a staggering average of 215.25 with four hundred partnerships and the highest stand of 319.

Former India pair Vijay Hazare and Rusi Modi put on 668 runs together in a five-match series against West Indies in 1948/49 on home soil. In six innings, Hazare and Modi batted at an average of 111.33 with four-century partnerships and the best score of 156.
