MS Dhoni hints at IPL 2024 return

Chennai Super Kings’ legendary skipper MS Dhoni cleared the air regarding his retirement talks with a befitting reply to Danny Morrison at the toss before the game against Lucknow Super Giants at the Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow. The former Indian skipper quirked that he never said it would be his last season.

Former Indian skipper MS Dhoni has got a huge fan following in the country, and his craze was on full display when he walked out for the toss at the Ekana Stadium in Lucknow. Kiwi commentator Danny Morrison was unable to hear himself because of the noise made by the crowd for the beloved cricketer.

When Morrison asked Dhoni about IPL 2023 being his last season in the competition, the CSK skipper quashed those rumours stating he never said it would be his final season.

The CSK skipper wasted no time with his reply, saying, “Well you’ve decided it’s my last.”

Both of them burst into laughter after Dhoni’s reply with the Kiwi announcing to the crowd that the iconic skipper will be coming to play next year, saying, “He is coming back to play next year.”
