While Najmul Hossain Shanto fell just short of a century, being dismissed for 90. Eventually, Bangladesh successfully chased down the target with three wickets to spare.

Tanzim Hasan Sakib stood out as the standout bowler, delivering crucial breakthroughs for the Sri Lankan team when they appeared to be in a stable position. He managed to secure three wickets while conceding 80 runs within his allotted 10 overs.
