Sachin Tendulkar honoured with Col. C. K. Nayudu lifetime achievement award

Cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar was honored with the Col. C.K. Nayudu Lifetime Achievement Award at the BCCI Naman Awards 2025 in Mumbai. This prestigious accolade recognizes his exceptional contributions to Indian cricket over a remarkable 24-year international career.
Tendulkar’s illustrious career includes representing India in 664 international matches, setting records for the highest number of runs in both Test and One-Day International cricket. His dedication and performance have left an indelible mark on the sport, inspiring generations of cricketers.
In his acceptance speech, Tendulkar expressed gratitude to his coaches, teammates, fans, and family, acknowledging their unwavering support throughout his journey. He stated, “My cricketing journey, which spanned 24 years, was never mine alone. It belonged to every coach’s guidance, every teammate’s trust, every fan’s unwavering support, and my family’s belief, love, and sacrifices.”
The Col. C.K. Nayudu Lifetime Achievement Award, established in 1994, is the highest honor bestowed by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) to recognize individuals who have made significant contributions to Indian cricket. Tendulkar is the 31st recipient of this esteemed award.
