T20 cricket started way back in the year 2003 and two years later in 2005 International T20 took place. The format just became popular day by day with fans loving the fast action-packed cricket that it offers. There are various T20 leagues that almost every country introduced and teams from those leagues just played consistent cricket over the years to win several titles.

3. Chennai Super Kings (60.56%)

Chennai Super Kings (CSK) is considered one of the most successful teams in T20 cricket thanks to their sheer consistency under the leadership of skipper MS Dhoni. CSK competes in the Indian Premier League (IPL) which was founded in 2008. The team has won four titles – 2010, 2011, 2018, and 2021, the second-most titles in the history of the tournament. CSK have played 195 matches, winning 117, losing 77 and one game had no result. Their winning percentage is an impressive 60.56. Notably, they have been IPL runners-up in 2008, 2012, 2013, 2015, and 2019.

2. Comilla Victorians (63.49%)

Comilla Victorians play in the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) and the team was founded in 2015. Though BPL started in 2012, Comilla Victorians were officially established three years later. Earlier it was called Cumilla Warriors after which it was named Comilla Victorians. They have played 63 matches, winning 40 and losing 23 encounters with a winning percent of 63.49. They have won the title twice – 2015 and 2019.

The most successful T20 team Trinbago Knight Riders (TKR, formerly known as Trinidad and Tobago Red Steel) competes in the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) since 2013. They have won the most trophies which are four – 2015, 2017, 2018, and 2020. The team has played 104 games, winning 65, losing 37 with a winning percentage of 65.19, they top the list. In 2015, the parent company of IPL team Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) purchased a stake in Red steel. Dwayne Bravo and Kieron Pollard have led the side in 70 and 34 matches respectively making them one of the most consistent sides in T20 franchise cricket.
