In response, the rival side was bundled out for 202 runs as India won by 174 runs in the 2nd ODI.

Gill seemed like a man possessed when he took the field against the Kiwis in the first ODI of the current series. The batter exploded in Hyderabad as he belted the rival bowling unit consistently and got a double century before getting dismissed. He amassed 208 runs off just 149 deliveries and joined the elite list of cricketers with a double ton.
